Circuit boards on a pile of leaves? Graphically mutated selfies? Carressing baby goats? Testicular cancer? Why the Ü?!? (Ü is a German umlaut/mutation for 'ue')? Pink Lint's Oliver Burghardt wanders through the supraterranian, urban jungle as an observer of time and place. If you wanna get a glimpse of what that means, check his instagram.

In a city, that Berlin is, the attentive inhabitant is provided with rather too many than less impressions. Instead of lamenting about overstimulation the Berlin musician Oliver Burghardt alias Pink Lint soaks up these impressions and embeds them into his music. In the end this is what cumulates in a mixture of Blue Velvet (by David Lynch) and Bambi (Walt Disney), garnished with found sounds and field recordings, the tracks become a sonic and lyrical gems

In his Berlin-Neukoelln apartment Oliver Burghardt works on his musical laboratory-experiment - orchestral recordings blow up, bird singing is bended into the sky - after feeding the latter sound producers. Teaming up with producer David Hoffmann he made it all his third album "Ü", a comprehensive work between Anti-Folk, Indie and Avantgarde-Pop. During the production many little 'happy accidents' occured, which now are available to you on the album. Every song has its own peculiarities and stories to tell; and Oliver leads you into all these with a pleasant kind of undertow.
